My review is more for those who can't visit Moleta in person but are considering mailing them their dull product for sharpening. This is a scary proposition, especially if you don't have much experience sending your prize possessions off to strangers! I'm here to tell you that you have no reason to worry! I took the plunge, after reviewing their website, and I sent them my beloved pinking shears that I had inherited from my grandmother (and I'M now 70 years old, grandmother-age myself!). It was easy-peasy. In no time at all, my antique shears arrived back home, nestled back in the same soft packaging I had used to ship them to Moleta. I was impressed to learn that they go out of their way to try to use the same packaging the product arrived in, demonstrating a keen sense of environmental stewardship, which impressed me. But most impressive of all was the sharpness of my old pinking shears! As anyone who sews knows, cutting fabric with pinking shears is no easy feat, but it's shear joy with a newly sharpened pair! Oh, wow! What a difference it makes! As the saying goes, they now "cut like butta!" I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience doing business with Moleta and I can't possibly recommend them more highly. A+++

I saw the owner's lecture at the WI quilt show. When I got home I packed up and sent several knives and scissors to be sharpened. I mailed them on Tuesday and got them back by Friday all beautifully sharpened and fixed! Will definitely use their service again for all of my knives, scissors, etc.
