Service Description

Knives ($6-10) / Garden Tools ($7-35)/ Scissors ($7-8) 120 - 600 grit / 5 - 7 micron polish Form and function meet art with Moleta's Signature Sharpening. By far our most popular service, it is ideal for everyday blades from kitchen knives to lawnmower blades. We set aside the time for you so your wait is limited to the number of items you are bringing and you get your items back as soon as possible. You are welcome to stay and watch or come back when they are ready. YOU DO NOT NEED AN APPOINTMENT, but it can reduce your wait time. Same day service is available for most walk-ins. Estimate 5-10 minutes per item Signature sharpening - available all items Includes basic reshaping, convex edge, 120 - 600 grit / 5 - 7 micron polish, drop testing through 20 lb paper (knives) or 30lb paper (lawnmower blades & machete type items) by a Moleta Certified sharpener. Finer Finish upgrade available - knives only 1000 grit / 5-7 micron polish The Finer Finish polishes the edge of the blade further for a little more aesthetically pleasing finish. For those who prefer a mirror finish and advanced reshaping we offer our Master Sharpening service which is a separate appointment and requires sharpener to have 10+ years experience.
